My thoughts on the Oscars:
James Franco was high as a bird. I am jealous of Anne Hathaways beaded dress. Mila Kunis is hot. Natalie Portman deserved it. James Franco in a dress=win Hugh Jackman still had the best opening number.
I was at an Oscar party tonight and one if my best friends said, “I’m so depressed.” You know why she’s “depressed”? Because the guy she likes doesn’t like her back. Yeah, okay that’s not fun but seriously?! She has been complaining about him not texting her back, and not asking her out for months, move on. There are so many other things in this world to be upset about. Are you aware that there are revolutions going on around the world that will shape our future? That there are laws being passed in our country that are historical? And depression? She has no idea what it’s like to be depressed. So many people in my life struggle daily with depression and I have lost people because of it. I’ve struggle with it, my parents both struggled. Depression isn’t something to joke about. I can’t stand it when people say they are depressed over a guy, or a test score or something that in the long run is insignificant. Depression isn’t funny, it isn’t a fad and people should be aware of what comes out of their mouths.
